The dream felt familiar.

A place of just being. A sterile environment where Audra was shrouded in darkness.

This place is where she’d met Seb for the first time, back when she thought he was just a figment of her imagination. This place is where Helios had come to her to heal her and help her.

This time though, she was different, and she didn’t wait for someone to come to her.

She ran to them.

She didn’t have time to waste, didn’t know how long the connection would stay open.

“Helios!” She called out into the void. “Helios, please!”

She ran aimlessly, but couldn’t just stay in one spot. She had to do something.

“You did all this, for a minute of my time?” A booming, familiar voice came through. She could’ve fallen with relief that her insane idea had worked.

“I did. I need your help.” She called.

Off to the side, there was a sparkle of light. Just one lone star that flickered in the darkness. Audra watched it get larger and larger, to the point where she had to cover her eyes.

“And please, pray tell, what I can do for you?” Helios asked with a smirk on his handsome face as he stepped through the bright light he’d brought to her. Exactly the opposite of Seb’s portals of darkness.

“I need to know how to defeat them. You said this baby would make pure energy. I need to know how to harness it, or create it myself. Just for a moment.” She said quickly.

Seb was searching for answers, but Audra had known there wouldn’t be any. She knew she had to go to the Sun God himself.

“I will not harm my child. So, tell me how Seb and I can create enough of this Pure Energy to stun or stop the dark creatures that are headed towards us.”

Helios crossed his arms over his chest. The gauntlets he wore clinked together. And the gold, metallic outfit he wore was reminiscent of the picture books Audra had seen of the Greek and Roman Gods and Goddesses when she was back in New York.

“When I told you a Total Darkling and a Total Elemental can create Pure Energy, I wasn’t lying to you. It is possible. Rare. Difficult. But possible.” He said, a smile crossed his face. “Your problem will be generating enough power to not only shield the child you carry, but also to make enough light. Lucien with his water element should be strong enough to sustain you both for a few extra moments. Make them count.”

“Us both? How will he do that? Will he be hurt?” Audra asked in a panic as Helios stepped backward into his portal. Their time was coming to a very quick end.

“You can’t stay here any longer, and I wasn’t meant to come at all. Lucien’s power is strong, but his love for you and your child is stronger. The three, well three and a half, of you will be essential to create the Pure Energy. You only need to
